How to setup, create and delete a Report Schedule in SCOM

Below are step by step to setup, create and delete the Report Scheduler on SCOM 2007 R2. By utilizing existing facilities, we do not need to create a report with the manual method. By using the Report This report will tergenerate Scheduler automatically, and will be sent to your registered email address.

1. Before you create the report scheduller, the first step is setup reporting services on SQL Server. Go to All Programs –>Microsoft SQL Server 2008 –>  Configuration Tools –>  Reporting Services Configuration Manager. clip_image002
2. On Reporting Services Configuration Connection windows, by default Server Name & Report Server Instance has been filled. And then click Connect clip_image003
3. On the left tab Connect, choose Email Setting, fill in the SMTP Setting on the right tab. Fill Sender Address & SMTP Server. Adjust on your SMTP Server. And then click Apply clip_image005 clip_image006
4. If your configuration has been done, see the Result below your SMTP Settings. clip_image007
5. If you will Edit the Schedule, go to Schedule Report, on the Schedule report column, right click your report will be edit. And then choose Edit Schedule clip_image009
6. If you will Delete the Schedule, go to Schedule Report, on the Schedule report column, right click your report will be deleted. And then choose Cancel Shcedule clip_image011
7. Click Yes if you make sure will be deleting the schedule clip_image013
